Austin’s favorite community gathering place, our H-E-B Terrace and expansive lawn have played host to countless festivals, performances, weddings, movies, and celebrations over the years.
H-E-B Terrace
Surrounded by our iconic Ring Beam and columns that frame the Long Center, the H-E-B Terrace is well-suited for all manner of outdoor events. This space also welcomes small tents or booths and food trucks (weight restrictions apply), coming to life at night with dramatic lighting for a special effect. Depending on the type of event, the H-E-B Terrace accommodates up to 2,000 people.
Hartman Concert Lawn
This expansive and flexible green space is adjacent to the H-E-B Terrace. Its gentle slope provides an amphitheater-like feel to outdoor concerts and includes the compression ring from the original Palmer Auditorium, which now serves as an ambient lighting feature and small stage.
