As distinctive and dynamic as the city it calls home, Ballet Austin takes its “classically innovative” approach to dance seriously. Here you can find classic performances, contemporary works, and even dance classes all year round. And don’t forget about The Nutcracker!
The ASO is Austin’s oldest performing arts group, providing an entertaining range of classical, pops, and family concerts that take audiences on a musical journey throughout the ages and around the world.
Accessible takes on classic operas are what Austin Opera is all about. But they don’t stop there — challenging new works, emerging artists, and Austin’s live music DNA all inform their ever-growing list of performances happening at the Long Center and across the city.
