Join us for the annual Oita Japan Summer Festival, a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture and the sister city relationship between Austin and Oita, Japan. Hosted by the Austin-Oita Sister City Committee, this family-friendly event brings the sights, sounds, and flavors of Japan to Austin. Enjoy authentic Japanese food and drinks, live performances including music, dance, and martial arts, cultural demonstrations such as tea ceremony and calligraphy, and a curated marketplace featuring unique goods. Guests of all ages can explore interactive activities, connect with the community, and experience the rich traditions and contemporary culture of Japan. This annual festival highlights the spirit of international friendship and cultural exchange that defines the Austin-Oita partnership.

- This is an indoor event.
- All patrons, regardless of age, require a ticket to attend the performance.
- Prohibited items include but are not limited to: Outside food or drinks, weapons of any kind including pocket knives, Professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses), Video cameras, illegal or illicit items of any kind, tents, vending of any kind and soliciting of any kind.
- Animals and pets are not permitted except for properly identified service animals.
