Event Details

Guest conductor José-Luis Novo leads an exploration of music from the Americas. The program begins with Silvestre Revueltas’ dynamic Redes: Suite, transporting audiences to the landscapes of Mexico. Jessica Mathaes takes center stage for Samuel Barber’s lyrical Violin Concerto, Op. 14, followed by Antonín Dvorák’s iconic Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 95, From the New World, a symphonic masterpiece inspired by American folk melodies.
