Event Details

Our new theatrical production explores stories from the epic poem featuring “The Bhaghavad Gita” as well as fight scenes from the civil battles between two ancient, kingly families. Imaginative and powerful, mortals interact with gods. If you love the Greek epics, this is for you. Those familiar with the Hindu tales will be intrigued by the use of contemporary music (by Austin singer Nagavalli), dance and color, plus our Austin cast of 19 actors.

This is a venue rental event presented by an independent organization separate from the Long Center. Any views or opinions expressed in this event or by the event organizers do not necessarily reflect the views, positions, or values of the Long Center.

What To Expect

  • This is an indoor event.
  • All patrons, regardless of age, require a ticket to attend the performance.
  • Prohibited items include but are not limited to: Outside food or drinks, weapons of any kind including pocket knives, Professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses), Video cameras, illegal or illicit items of any kind, tents, vending of any kind and soliciting of any kind.
  • Animals and pets are not permitted except for properly identified service animals.
