Event Details

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we bring our sensational 2023-2024 Masterworks Series season to a close with a flourish. Prepare to be transported as we welcome back the much-loved violin virtuoso, Francisco Fullana, to grace our stage once again. His masterful interpretation of Astor Piazzolla’s enchanting Cuatro estaciones portenas will leave you spellbound, a mesmerizing dance of melodies that will stir your soul.

But that’s not all – our program is a journey through musical landscapes that will awaken your senses and take you on an extraordinary ride. Dive into the lush, vibrant world of Antonín Dvořák’s In Nature’s Realm, where the orchestra paints a vivid tapestry of nature’s beauty and power. Feel the serenity and mystery unfold as Takashi Yoshimatsu’s And Birds Are Still… casts its gentle spell, a moment frozen in time.

And of course, we couldn’t forget Claude Debussy’s timeless masterpiece, La Mer. Let the waves of sound wash over you as our musicians breathe life into Debussy’s depiction of the sea in all its grandeur – a true testament to the orchestra’s prowess.

Prepare to be swept away by the symphonic magic that only the Austin Symphony Orchestra can deliver. This evening promises a captivating blend of emotion, virtuosity, and musical storytelling that will resonate long after the final note. Join us for an unforgettable night on the edge of summer, as we bid farewell to a remarkable season with a performance that will leave you in awe.
