THIS WEEK AT THE DROP-IN
Superfóncios has been bringing the Colombian Funk, Cumbia and Afro-beat to Austin Texas since late 2016. With most of the members having deep roots in Colombia, Superfónicos’ music not only highlights the country’s Caribbean coastal sounds, but also the stories of the displaced, the folkloric tales from the countryside, and reminders to let go and embrace a human experience that is more connected to the earth and our past. Superfónicos released the full length record “RENACERÉ” in summer 2024. In March 2025, Superfóncios was voted “Best Latin” at the Austin Music Awards.
The Animeros – Comprised of members from Superfónicos and El Combo Oscuro, The Animeros’ sound blends various styles found in Latin America such as Cumbia, Chicha, Cha-cha-chá, Salsa, Bolero — all seasoned with Tex-Mex psychedelia.

- Doors open at 7 PM // Show starts at 8pm
- Spots on the lawn are first come, first served. While chairs are not provided, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
- Leashed pets are welcome
- Re-entry is permitted
