Teresa Lozano Long
Community Day
Sat, SEPT 7 // 11am - 4pm // FREE
We Had A Blast💥
Thanks for making our 2nd Annual Teresa Lozano Long Community Day, presented by AT&T, one for the books! Everywhere we looked, the Long Center was abuzz with community partners, scavenger hunters, creativity mongers, and performing arts lovers. Together we enjoyed 9 free performances, hosted 24 community partners, and welcomed over 2,000 Austinites for some afternoon fun. That’s pretty cool.
The Long Center is always yours, but especially on Teresa Lozano Long Community Day!
With additional support from The Long Foundation and H-E-B.

Ballet Austin’s Rhythm on Stage
This is your opportunity to come dance and experience what it’s like to take center stage inside Dell Hall! That’s right, you could dance on the same stage where Ballet Austin performs! This all-ages activity welcomes the entire family for a free Bollywood Dance class, taught by Rohit Ramachandran, instructor from Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for Dance & Fitness. All ages and experience levels welcome. No dance experience is required. Come dance for the joy of it!
Family Yoga with ATX Yoga Girl
ATX Yoga Girl brings mindful movement to the whole family as a way to connect while having FUN! She specializes in family and children’s yoga, including meditation, mindfulness, and sound healing.
