About Mélat
Mélat tells stories of love in all it’s facets – whether romantic or platonic, beginning or ending – because love is, in her eyes, the only truth. Born and bred in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, Texas, this first-generation Ethiopian-American is the eclectic soul of modern r&b. Penning and recording her own songs as an independent artist, Mélat has played many of the festivals in her hometown including the more notable SXSW and Austin City Limits Festival.

From love, lust, success, to failure Mélat sings of what it means to be a human being simply longing to “be”.

About Carlton Wilcoxson
Carlton Wilcoxson is a stand-up comedian, actor, and aspiring playboy in Austin, Texas. Since he started comedy in 2016, he has regularly opened for headliners at venues such as the Paramount Stateside, the Creek & the Cave, the Velveeta Room, Fallout Theater, and Cap City Comedy Club. He also hosts multiple popular shows of his own: the long-running weekly show Buzzkill at the Buzz Mill as well as the always sold out monthly show Stoned vs. Drunk vs. Sober. You can catch him performing at this year’s Moontower Comedy Festival or on the basketball courts, still trying to make his hoop dreams happen.
