Event Details

Austin Dance Festival presents a local, regional, and national roster of dance-makers working in the field
of modern dance, post-modern dance, contemporary dance, experimental dance, and improvisational
dance. The festival’s curated events include two different professional dance showcases and two
different concerts performed by youth dance companies. Other festival events include numerous master
classes for youth, recreational, and professional dancers, a college dance fair, and a Pro Chat Q&A. For
more information about festival events, including a complete list of master classes, visit http://austindancefestival.com.

On Saturday, March 23rd, two professional showcases will take place in Rollins Theatre at The Long
Center. The two showcases, one at 5:00 p.m. and one at 8:00 p.m., are completely different. Thought-
provoking, intense, fun, playful, quiet, serious, highly technical, and fiercely creative, there’s something
for everyone.
