Your Austin Symphony is thrilled to bring Steven Spielberg’s 1977 masterpiece, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, to Austin. Widely considered one of the most treasured and influential science fiction films of all time, Close Encounters of the Third Kind features a groundbreaking score written by John Williams, which will now be performed live to picture! Don’t miss this amazing event on October 26th in Long Center’s Dell Hall.

Founded in 1911, the Austin Symphony Orchestra is Austin’s oldest performing arts group. The ASO offers a complete season of musical and educational programming, including the Masterworks concert series.
