Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards

dellhall_longcenter1
Join the Long Center, along with our partners The University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts and ZACH Theatre, as we recognize tomorrow’s stars of the stage—and pay tribute to the value and talent of musical theatre and arts education in our community.

During a spectacular evening of performance and raw talent, the best and brightest from the 6 surrounding counties in Central Texas will take to the Dell Hall stage as Austin celebrates our area’s students and educators of high school musical theatre by honoring their outstanding achievements. Throughout the 2014-2015 academic year,  participating high school productions in the Greater Austin area will vie for a coveted award as selected by a panel of arts professionals culminating in a Tony Awards-style ceremony to be held Tuesday April 14,  2015 at the Long Center for the Performing Arts.

The Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards are presented by the Long Center for the Performing Arts with the University of Texas at Austin College of Fine Arts and ZACH Theatre, in partnership with the Austin Aztex, Scholarship Sponsor Wells Fargo, Founding Sponsors Carolyn and Marc Seriff, and Media Partner KXAN.
