Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company is an award-winning modern dance company based in Austin, Texas. In this opener for the company’s 25th Season, you’ll see three original works in one hour: two dances choreographed by Artistic Director and Austin Arts Hall of Fame member Kathy Dunn Hamrick, and a third work made in collaboration with the dancers: Anna Bauer, Jairus Carr, Cara Cook, Alyson Dolan, and Carissa Topham. Audiences can expect to see bold, athletic dancing, rapid-fire micro-movements, and quiet moments of humanity.
Hamrick’s work is meant to be viewed close up. See it, feel it, experience it in the intimate Rollins Theatre. Four shows only: Friday December 1st at 7pm; Saturday December 2nd at 5pm and 7pm; Sunday December 3rd at 3pm.
