The Long Center is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit dedicated to broadening the appreciation and enhancing the enjoyment of the cultural arts.



The Long Center and HEB present Bubblepalooza! Saturday, June 3 from 9AM-1PM on the City Terrace, as part of All Summer Long at the Long Center.

Our favorite summer family event Bubblepalooza returns for its sixth year! Our free annual celebration of open play, everyone is invited to spend time on our City Terrace and expansive lawns enjoying live music, trailer food—and of course, tons of bubbles!

This year’s bubble-tastic activities include “I Love Austin” button making with Do512 Family, face painting, Rowdy Jousting and toys from Toy Joy, giant bubble making, foam pits, ambulance tours with St. David’s Healthcare, a United Heritage Credit Union coloring station, photo opportunities, a giant graffiti wall, and more! Also look out for exclusive ticket giveaways happening throughout the day.

You can look forward to live music from Hey Lolly Band, Biscuit Brothers, and The Saddle Sores (aka the White Ghost Shivers), and grab some bites from food trucks, including snow cones from Kona Ice, waffles from Mykonos Waffles, and breakfast tacos. Be sure to get a photo op with Beaker the UHCU eagle mascot and your favorite H-E-Buddy!

Beverages are available for purchase on-site. Please, no outside food or beverages, but parents with children under 5 years of age are welcome bring food/beverages for the kiddos.Parking will be available for $8 per car at the Palmer Events Center Garage.

Bubblepalooza! is a part of  the Long Center’s series of summer programming, All Summer LONG! From trailer food, live music and movie classics on a giant outdoor screen to dance lessons, bubbles, and world class artists, the Long Center is the place to be—all summer long!
