The Long Center is Austin’s only live entertainment venue that embraces and emphasizes local talent and organizations, touting over 80% of performances from local artists. We are the home for these groups to create, educate and inspire Austin.

Collaboration with Local Arts Groups
Behind the scenes, Long Center staff is involved in planning new projects and shows, often co-programming or co-presenting the final productions. The Long Center collaborates with groups such as the Austin Symphony Orchestra, the Austin Classical Guitar Society, Trailer Food Diaries, Summer Stock Austin and Pollyanna Theatre Company to produce educational, artistic and social events for the community such as Rock-a-LONG-Wednesdays, FlamencoAustin and Trailer Food Tuesdays.

Rollins Studio Theatre
The Long Center embraces local talent and arts organizations and provides state-of-the-art facilities where these groups can explore and nurture creativity. The black-box format of the 229-seat Rollins Theatre is conducive to smaller community groups, allowing them to perform in a more intimate setting while enjoying the thrill of a professional stage. It’s also the home of Concert Club, the Long Center’s original programming series for local musicians
