Free Community Events

terrace_crowd
Our grounds have become a true community gathering space.

On any given day you can see Austinites on our City Terrace in a boot camp class, on the lawn doing yoga or the grand staircase posing for wedding pictures. A growing array of free events designed to share our facility with people who might not have visited us yet are now on the calendar. We truly think of the Long Center as a home, and we are always excited when we can invite you over to join us.

Trailer Food Tuesdays

Trailer Food Tuesdays took Austin by storm last summer, and this year is going to be better than ever. Food trailers lined up on the terrace and Austin lined up for the food! More than 1,000 people enjoyed this funky, vintage Austin experience each month.

Bubblepalooza

What’s a Bubblepalooza, you ask? It’s a celebration of all things bubble for kids (and their parents) with kiddie rock bands, kiddie yoga, chalk art, and of course LOTS of bubbles. In 2012 more than 3,000 eager kids of all ages came out to play! In all, more than 8,000 people experienced this cool time with us…all for free!
