We don’t need to tell you that Austin’s summer continues to sizzle with temperatures reaching the high ’90s and above, daily! Don’t miss your chance to cool off with the rest of our FREE All Summer Long events. We’re halfway through the summer and still some great times to be had—here’s how we’re rounding out our August.
- August 28
Just one more date for this free community workout on our Terrace! Check in on those Facebook events—sometimes there are goodies to be had after a round of go-at-your-own-pace sweating. (We’re talking pizza, tacos, cold brew coffee…)
- August 3
Only one more event for 2017 but it’s a good one. Let your ’90s heart singalong to *NSYNC’s “It’s Gonne Be Me” with this Videodance™ led by Ballet Austin’s Butler Center for Dance & Fitness. Doors to Dell Hall stage open at 7pm, with dance beginning at 7:30pm. RSVP here!
- July 26
A perennial Austin favorite, this is the LAST Sound & Cinema of the summer! Rounding out our list of this year’s favorite cult classics is Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, with music by A Giant Dog. Our recipe of live local music + outdoor big screen is the best way to spend your (hot & humid) Wednesday evening with 5,000 of your closest friends.
- July 25
- August 15
With a food truck lineup that always keeps us guessing, Trailer Food Tuesday has two more dates this summer. These trucks travel far and wide and sometimes from the other side of town to serve you on our City Terrace, accompanied by live music. In July we’re joined by the musical stylings of Muvva Erff, with The Derailers heading up our August date. Check out this week’s lineup!
- September 16
What’s better for back to school than an outdoor bash? Mark this on your calendars and keep your eyes & ears peeled—we’ll be unveiling more about this FREE day of fitness, food and fun later in the summer!
