Long Center Presents 2016-2017 Season | The Long Center for the Performing Arts

Announcing the 2016-2017 Long Center Presents Season!

How lucky we are to live in Austin. This is our home. This is our stage. This is where we BeLong.

The Long Center invites you to make Austin’s Creative Home your own for the 2016-2017 Season, as we come together to celebrate the art and culture of Austin in a place we all BeLong. The Long Center is bringing more diversity, accessibility, and vibrancy to the arts in Austin than ever before with our new season, filled with Broadway hits, big names, family thrills, and plenty of spectacles—as inclusive and ostentatious as Austin itself!

See the premiere issue of The Center—our new quarterly publication all about Austin’s Creative Home!

Sit in on conversation with dynamic speakers. Kelly McEvers of NPR’s All Things Considered and the podcast Embedded; the hilarious Jeffrey Tambor of Transparent and Arrested Development; Neil DeGrasse Tyson, stellar astrophysicist and adviser to NASA; Kathy Griffin, stand-up comedian extraordinaire; the larger-than-life humor of Jeanne Robertson; the biting and satirical Fran Lebowitz; and Neil Gaiman, bestselling author of more than twenty books, including American Gods, Coraline, Good Omens, and Neverwhere.
